One of the hardest parts of art for me is keeping the facial structure consistent - so that's definitely something I'm going to work on this year.
#idk what it is but i will draw a character three times on a page in the same session and somehow they will look different every time#they're still recognizable ofc but they just look... different slightly#i think its mostly because of eye shape + jaw line and such#gotta get better at it...#i say character but like. its riku LMAO#i can literally never get this dude consistent#i think ann is the only character ive drawn a few times where she comes out looking pretty similar everytime....#for riku i think its a case of getting his facial features locked down and consistent? especially his face shape#when i try out new angles it always ends up looking a lil different#his eyes too#mel is another character i know im prob gonna struggle a little with - again i think its eye shape + jaw line#mel will be easier though because i have a ton of reference#i like drawing her a lot her hair is especially fun to do#mel my darling....
